Every year the Young Adult Volunteers (YAVs) fundraise as a community to share about their experiences and support the costs of the program in partnership with churches, individuals and other organizations. This year the YAVs (Lesly, Yadamy, Ben, Zeyla and Nidia) are trying to fundraise $12,000. Invite us to Share
We love to share about our work and how God's love is at work in the world and the lives of young people. If are a local church/organization/camp/university within a reasonable driving distance (the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Sonora and Chihuahua) we would love to come share more about this our Young Adult Volunteer program here on the U.S./Mexico border. And if your church is far away, then technology can help us find a way for the YAVs to share more about their work and service here on the border. Spread the Word
Most of our young adults come to serve with us through people like you telling them about this amazing program. We are a unique program that provides young adults from North America and Latin America the opportunity to build community, learn about faith and justice and serve others together. So let people know we are out there! We are part of a larger community through PCUSA with many other places where young adults regardless of their background can serve and learn about faith and social justice. If you know of an young adult who would be interested in our program than we would love to connect with them and share more about the opportunities in the YAV program.
